There's substantial hue and outcry regarding the litigation between e360 and Spamhaus before the Northern District of Illinois (my own backyard). There also seems to be substantial confusion over what exactly has happened. Despite reports to the contrary, the court has not ordered ICANN to suspend Spamhaus's domain name. e360 has submitted a proposed order that would have the ICANN-approved registrar "suspend or place a client hold" on the spamhaus.org domain name.
Nonetheless, the sitation is serious for Spamhaus and, consequently, for the rest of us.
